The certification and notarization of no criminal record

· Who can apply?

Foreigners who have lived in Guangdong over six months.

To be noted that the residential time period starts from the date of Registration of Temporary Residence for Visitors. It can be calculated all the records of the cities in Guangdong together.

· Why do I need to notarized the no criminal record?

The certification of no criminal record is issued by the public security department in Chinese. If the applicant plans to go to other countries, an effectual notarized foreign language version may be helpful.

· Is there any one-off service for the certification and notarization?

Yes. Since June, 2021, applicants can apply the certification and notarization at some one-off service counter.

· How long does it take?

About four working days

· What documents should I prepare?

1. Your passport. If the applicant had renewed the passport during your stay in Guangdong, information of the former passport should be submitted too.

2. The authorized Accommodation Registration Form of the applicant.

3. Submit the Application Form of the Certificate and relevant documents.

· The procedures:

1. Submit your application at the one-off service counters, and your documents will be authenticated.

2. The certification of no criminal record will be issued by the public security departments after authentication.

3. The notarization will be issued by the notary office after its notarization.

4. You can go to get the certification and notarization when you are informed by the one-off service counter.
